Two Stafford women arrested after drugs seized

Yesterday (29 June), two women were arrested after monkey dust was seized from a house in Stafford.
This followed a house search carried out on Weston Road by officers as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in the area.
Police seized monkey dust, a mobile phone and drugs paraphernalia.
A 45-year-old woman, from Stafford, and a 32-year-old woman, of no fixed address, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B – other.
The 32-year-old woman has been released under investigation with the 45-year-old woman remaining in custody.
Inspector Daniel Egerton, of the Stafford local policing team, said: "I hope this action shows we are taking robust action against drug supply in the area.
"I would urge anyone who has concerns about drug use to report it to us."
