Stafford man charged with rape

A man from Stafford will appear in court next month after being charged with rape.
Staffordshire Police confirmed Stuart Michael Haycock, 48, of Stafford, who is White British, has been charged with rape of a woman 16 years of age or over.
The force said the charge came following an investigation after a report of a non-recent incident.
Police said the incident was in the Stafford area.
Mr Haycock will appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on 29 July.
A force statement confirmed: "A man has been charged following an investigation into a report of a non-recent rape in Stafford.
"Stuart Michael Haycock, 48, of Stafford, who is White British, has been charged with rape of a woman 16 years of age or over."
