Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently tackling a large fire at Cannock Chase.
This follows a previous fire at Cannock Chase on Thursday (30 July) which was thought to have been caused by a disposable barbecue.
15 fire engines are at the scene and are working to contain the fire.
Crews were called to the scene at 2:30pm today (5 August) following reports of smoke coming from the area.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A significant number of firefighters are actively responding to the fire, using water carriers, hose reel jets, main jets, a high-volume pump and more.
"Our colleagues from Staffordshire Police are also in attendance and are assisting with making the area safe and setting up a cordon.
"The seat of the fire is off Chase Road, close to Coppice Hill and Brocton.
"We're asking people to avoid the area at this time and keep windows and doors closed."
Updates to follow.
