Man arrested after incident near Corporation Street

A man was arrested yesterday (4 August), after reports of a burglary in Stafford.
Officers were called to an allotment area at the back of Corporation Street at around 7.25pm following a report of a man searching through sheds.
Following the arrival of police, a man was detained.
Battery packs for gardening tools were recovered.
A 45-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and will be questioned in custody.
