The Stafford Building Society is a finalist in this year's Moneyfacts Awards.

Founded in 1877, the building society serves over 15,000 members in the local area and supports charities, causes, and community groups. 

Moneyfacts is an independent and impartial organisation which evaluates the quality of savings, mortgage, investment and banking products across the UK.

The winners of the 2026 awards will be announced on 25 June at a ceremony at the HAC in London.

The Stafford Building Society is a finalist both in the Best Building Society Savings Provider and Best Notice Account Provider categories. 

Moneyfacts Awards said: "Rigorous product monitoring is carried out throughout the preceding year to determine the winners, and the intermediary community is also consulted for feedback. 

"Announced at a gala dinner, winners use the widely recognised Moneyfacts Awards logo as a badge of excellence in their marketing and communications campaigns."

Over 10,000 products were reviewed in order to compile the shortlist.
