Police appeal for witnesses following ‘serious’ crash in Stafford

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash this afternoon (7 April) in Stafford.
At around 4.20pm, police were called to the scene after reports of a crash involving a police motorcyclist and a silver VW Passat on Wolverhampton Road.
The Police officer, a man, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are being assessed.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, has information or dashcam footage should contact the police by calling 101, quoting incident 587 of 7 April, or message using the Live Chat on the Staffordshire Police website.
