Eccleshall music festival returns this weekend after six year break
By Livia Gregor 26th Mar 2026
EFestival will relaunch this Friday (27 March), after a six-year gap following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Performances will take place across Eccleshall with stages situated at The Little George, The King's Arms, Olive Italian restaurant and Holy Trinity Parish Church.
Event organiser and co-owner of The Little George, Zoe Wallace, said: "E Festival is something that we launched as The Little George back in 2018.
"It's a coordination between various businesses, retailers and community members to showcase Eccleshall and put it on the map.
"It's a music festival, so we've got everything from party vibes to more chilled out, we've got local artists, we've got award winning artists, we've got blues troops, we've got our introducing stage set up at Olive Italian.
"That's all newer performers that are looking to get themselves out there and practise their trade."
The festival is being held in memory of local legend, Steven Duffield, who passed away in January.
Steven compered the first ever EFestival and was a keen supporter of Acorns Children's Hospice.
He walked 1,880 miles as part of his Sahara Yomp Challenge which raised £4,500 for the charity.
Many of the musicians are donating part of their fees to the hospice and attendees are encouraged to donate.
Most of the events are free but a few of the performances require tickets or prebooking.
On Friday night (27 March), the UK's leading ABBA tribute band, Planet ABBA, will be taking to the stage at Holy Trinity Parish Church.
While on Saturday evening (28 March) , Olive Italian will be hosting Manhattan til Midnight, an evening of jazz-infused music with a soulful twist.
Attendees can finish off the weekend with sing-along brunch at The Little George on Sunday (29 March) from 10:30am until 12pm.
