Visit Staffordshire said: "This year we have all you could want with talks, demonstrations (such as weaving and weapon usage), arms and armour displays, cooking, 'Have-a-go' Javelin, 'Kiddie-Vike' and Viking games such as Kubb and Nine Men's Morris!

"This alongside the usual fantastic axe-throwing, archery, coin minting, face painting, birds of prey and our tasty food stalls.

"Everyone can look the part by visiting the wound painting stall to make yourself look fearsome or perhaps more friendly by visiting our face painting stall."

Event admission is free but there will be small charges for the children's workshop and parking.
