A daytime disco, celebrating 35 years of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, has been endorsed by comedian and entertainer Paul Chuckle.

Popular Stafford DJ, Tim Rowlands, better known as TJ DJ, will be spinning classic tunes from across the decades to mark the charity's special anniversary with every ticket sold helping to raise money.

Comedy legend, Paul Chuckle, known for ChuckleVision and Celebrity Coach Trip, has shared a heartfelt message encouraging people to attend the event.

In the video, Paul said, making reference to the Chuckle Brothers' famous catchphrase: "I have a message to give to you.

"Not to me, to you.

"Don't forget to support TJ DJ and his daytime disco, playing the best of the 90s, 00s and now, all in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance at Riva Stafford on 26 September.

"So, no slacking!"

DJ Tim has been supporting the charity for a number of years using his musical talents to raise thousands of pounds, helping Midlands Air Ambulance to continue their life-saving work.

The event is a double celebration, as 26 September is also Tim's birthday!

He said: "The support we've received has been incredible and I'm looking forward to celebrating both my birthday and 35 years of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity with everyone.

"It's going to be a fantastic afternoon of great music, dancing and fundraising for a cause that's very close to my heart."

The event will begin at 4pm and finish at 9pm.

Tickets are £5 online and £10 on the door.
