Friday 22 May- Celebrating Celine 'A New Day' at the Gateshouse Theatre
A live concert experience honouring musical icon Celine Dion is coming to Stafford this weekend.
Talented vocalist Lisa Harter, will be taking to the Gatehouse Theatre stage to perform Celine's classic hits from 'My Heart Will Go On' to 'River Deep, Mountain High'.
The highly successful touring production, has entertained crowds across the UK and promises to be a night audiences won't forget.
The Gatehouse Theatre said: "Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to her music, Celebrating Celine promises an evening of joy, emotion, and unforgettable entertainment.
"Prepare to be dazzled as we pay tribute to the voice, the legacy, and the magic of Celine Dion."
Friday 22 May- DJ DEKKER at The Bank
Fans of reggae should head down to The Bank this Friday.
DJ DEKKER will be taking to the deck from 8pm.
Attendees can expect to hear a selection of classic reggae, rocksteady, ska, dancehall and trojan tunes.
The Bank said: "From old-school anthems to dancefloor bangers, DJ DEKKER brings the ultimate Caribbean soundtrack to Market Square.
"Good music, good people, good energy — don't miss it!"
Saturday 23 May- Wildflower walk at The Wolseley Centre
Locals can take part in a special walk to learn about wildflowers in Staffordshire this weekend.
Beginning at 1pm, guests will be taken on a tour of The Wolseley Centre by an experienced guide who will provide fascinating information about wildflowers and the reserve.
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust said: "Our guide will talk you through ID tips and explore the reserve uncovering a world of wonder.
"We walk whatever the weather so please make sure you are dressed suitably for the outdoors."
Tickets are £12 (plus a booking fee) and include a free hot drink at The Kingfisher Cafe at the end of the walk.
The walk will begin at the Learning Hub which is at the bottom of the hill in front of the car park.
