MAJOR UPDATE: Extra time granted to question 17-year-old attempted murder suspect

Detectives have been granted extra time to question a teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 17-year-old boy was taken into custody on Tuesday evening (19 May) in connection with the attempted murder of a man in his 60s near The Castle Golf and Leisure Club on Thursday 14 May.
The victim, who was approached from behind before being stabbed, remains in a critical but stable condition.
He and his family are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries following the attack.
