Saturday 14 March- Stafford Farmers Market

Stafford's monthly market returns this weekend and offers the perfect opportunity to buy a locally produced Mother's Day gift.  

A range of artisan crafts and homeware will be for sale including wax melts, candles and jewellery.  

Wines, jams, pastries and cakes will also be available to purchase as well as some tasty street food. 

The event will begin at 9am in Market Square and finish at 3pm.

However, it is advisable to get there early if you don't want to miss out. 

Traders sometimes pack up their stalls early if they run out of products.  

Saturday 14 March- Pysanky Egg Decorating

Decorate your own Ukrainian Easter Egg, with the guidance of a local expert, at Staffordshire History Centre. 

Pysanky Eggs are traditionally made by dipping a raw eggs into wax followed by colourful dyes. 

They are an important part of Ukrainian history and have been made for centuries. 

The event is aimed at anyone over the age of six including adult crafters. 

The workshop is free, beginning at 2pm and ending at 3:30pm.

Sunday 15 March- Boyband in the Buff: Starring Gareth Gates 

Take a trip down memory lane, with the ultimate throwback concert at the Gatehouse Theatre. 

Pop Idol legend Gareth Gates will be taking to stage with an ensemble of talented performers. 

According to the Gatehouse website: "With nothing but harmonies, dance moves, and a whole lot of skin, the boys belt out the biggest hits of the '90s and '00s—from Backstreet Boys to NSYNC, Blue to Take That—in a show that's as nostalgic as it is naughty." 

Doors open at 7:30pm with the event being for those aged 18+. 

Superfans can purchase the meet and greet add-on package, which includes a signed poster and a photo opportunity with Gareth before the show.
