Friday 17 July- Saturday 18 July: Derrington Music Festival

The highly successful Derrington Music Festival returns this weekend.

Over the course of the two day musical celebration, attendees will be able to enjoy 12 fantastic live acts including performances from Ultimate Madnezz – No.1 Madness Tribute, Flash – A Tribute to Queen and The Killaz UK.

Anyone camping or with a campervan can arrive at 12pm on Friday with the festival officially opening at 4pm.

Event organisers said: "Bring your friends, your energy, and your love for music.

"Don't miss one of Staffordshire's biggest summer party weekends!"

Sunday 19 July: Teddy Bear's Picnic

What better place to spend a summer afternoon with the kids than at Izaak Walton's Cottage?

A teddy bear's picnic will be taking place at the iconic historical venue this weekend from 11am until 4pm.

Admission is free but cash will be required for parking and refreshments.

Historic Stafford said: "Join us for all sorts of fun and entertainment in the tranquil garden's of Izaak Walton's Cottage.

"Aimed at our younger visitors and families, we will have magic shows, storytelling, a bear hunt, face painting, cakes, ice cream, a pony, children's workshops, stalls and even a visit from Pudsey Bear himself!

"Make sure you pack a picnic and don't forget your teddy bear!"

Sunday 19 July: Grow and Glow Charity Fashion Event (charity event)

This weekend a special fashion show will take place in Hyde Lea to raise money for Staffordshire Women's Aid.

Ten local women from Gymphobics, a womens-only gym based on Grey Friars Way, will be wowing audiences on the catwalk.

Live music will be provided by Carrieann Hathaway and complimentary refreshments will be available.
