Two women charged after reports of shoplifting in Stafford

Two women from Wolverhampton have been charged with theft offences following reports of shoplifting in Stafford.

Lauren Toni Ann McGregor, 38 has been charged with two counts of theft from a shop and Ellie Tanner-Khan, 21 has been charged with one count of theft from a shop.

It follows officers carrying out several arrests in Stafford town centre on Wednesday 29 April.

Both women have been placed on conditional bail ahead of their court appearances.

McGregor will appear at Cannock Magistrates Court on Friday 22 May and Tanner-Khan will appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday 2 June.
