Top five egg hunts near Stafford this Easter

Here is a list of Easter egg hunts and activities not to be missed this Spring. 

There are so many places for families to enjoy this Easter in Stafford. 

Shugborough Estate- on now until 12 April

Shugborough Hall will be hosting its very own Easter egg hunt within its historic parkland and gardens.  

Prices are £3.50 per trail and include a trail sheet, a chocolate egg and best of all, a set of bunny ears. 

For more information, head to visitor reception. 

Chick handling will also be taking place from 4-6 April and must be prebooked.

The farm team will be leading sessions where attendees can learn all about how to look after the new arrivals.

Canalside Farm- on now until 5 April

Easter scavenger hunt packs, available at the farm shop, will keep young people entertained for hours.

Canalside Farm said: "There is lots of fun to be had as you hop around our Farm, Shop, Cafe and outside areas and find our giant Easter egg boards and answer the questions from your sheet." 

Tickets are £3, with the trail running from 10am until 4pm, daily.

Amerton Railway- 3-6 April

Take a magical ride on a steam train while searching for eggs along the way. 

People should collect spotting sheets when purchasing tickets at the ticket office. 

Trains are running from 11:30 until 4:30 each day of the hunt and there is no need to book.

The Little George (Eccleshall)- 3 April only

Children can enjoy an Easter egg hunt and crafts between 2pm and 4pm. 

There will also be a sunflower planting competition with the winner to be announced at Eccleshall Arts Festival on June 27. 

Lower Drayton Farm- on now until 12 April

There are loads of activities happening at Lower Drayton Farm this Easter. 

Young people will have the chance to meet Eenie Beanie Bunny and take part in an egg hunt. 

There are also daily animal talks and trailer rides.  

The Tulip Festival will begin this weekend giving people the chance to enjoy fields of flowers and take some amazing photos. 

A mini tulip paddock is available for children.
