Three dogs rescued from house fire in Stafford

Three dogs were rescued from a house fire in Stafford yesterday (21 June).

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a home on Trinity Fields at around 12:55pm following reports of a fire.

Three appliances attended the scene and found a house that was ablaze.

Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and ventilated the property.

Three dogs were rescued from the fire and received oxygen therapy at the scene with one being taken to the vet.

Nobody was reported as injured.

The fire was deemed to be accidental and crews left the scene just before 8pm.
