A man, from Stafford, is due to appear in court after being charged with monkey dust offences.

This comes after a property search was carried out by police in the Highfields area earlier this week.

Alex Mathewson, 29, is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (7 May) charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs, monkey dust; being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, monkey dust; and possession of criminal property.

Police are continuing to tackle the supply of monkey dust in Staffordshire as part of Operation Rivent.
