Stafford farmers help to prevent spread of deliberate fire

Earlier this week, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue was called to Fradswell Lane in Fradswell following a report of hay on fire.
The incident occurred at 1.30pm on Monday (10 August).
Local farmers helped by creating a fire break using vehicles before fire crews arrived.
The fire was safely extinguished using hose reel jets by firefighters fitted with breathing apparatus.
No one was injured and the cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate.
