Katharine House Hospice invite people to vote on names for brand new patient rooms

Katharine House Hospice is inviting members of the public to vote on names for their ten new patient rooms.
Each of the rooms will be named after a flower to complement the tree names already used for rooms in the Therapy and Wellbeing Centre.
There will be three options for each room with people being able to cast their vote via an online form.
According to Katharine House, the names aim to give the rooms "warmth and individuality".
Adding that: "Each room will keep its number for practical purposes, but we hope its flower name will help create a more welcoming and memorable space for patients and families."
Voting closes on 20 August.
