Stafford Castle's popular 'Halloween Craft and Trail' event, which was set to return this weekend, has been postponed due to Storm Austen.

As a result of strong winds, Stafford having been issued with a yellow weather warning, the event will now take place on Wednesday 28 October between 11am and 3:15pm.

The layout of the day will remain the same with children having the chance to create a monster fridge magnet and tealight holder and follow the Halloween trail around the castle grounds.

No booking is required and tickets are £5 per child.

Historic Stafford said: "Due to "spooky high winds" this weekend, the Halloween Craft and Trail has a date change...come join us this Wednesday instead for some fang-tastic creations!"
