Budding entrepreneurs are invited to attend a series of workshops in Stafford next month.

The 'Start Smart' workshops, an initiative by Stafford Borough Council and Cannock Chase District Council provides face-to-face advice, practical guidance, expert advice and support, giving local businesses the tools to succeed.

Attendees will be guided by experienced business support officers with each of the four sessions working towards building confidence and key skills.

When are the sessions?:

• Tuesday 3 November Setting the Foundations
• Tuesday 10 November Marketing, Sales and Customers
• Tuesday 17 November Basic Accountancy
• Wednesday 25 November Funding and Finance, Regulatory Licences / Compliance

Each of the workshops will start at 9am and finish at 1pm at Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre.

The sessions are open to people from across both council areas with workshops due to be rolled out in Cannock Chase in the new year.
