Thursday 23-Saturday 25: Abigail's Party at the Gatehouse Theatre

Mike Leigh's classic play Abigail's Party opened earlier this week at the Gatehouse Theatre.

Many people will remember the TV adaptation starring Alison Steadman back in 1977.

The show is being brought to life by the Stafford Players who aim to encapsulate the painfully awkward comic humour of the original.

It will begin at 7:30pm each day and tickets are available here.

Saturday 25 July- Xmas in July at Buzz Bingo

Buzz Bingo is bringing the Christmas magic to Stafford early this year with an exciting event this Saturday.

Tickets for this festive session include any main meal from the menu, a drink from a wide range of options and all bingo games.

Traditional paper bingo is available however; players using the touchscreen option are five times more likely to win as they will get 30 tickets instead of six.

Buzz Bingo said: "Dig out your baubles and thaw out Mariah Carey - we're bringing the holiday magic early this year!"

Sunday 26 July- Community Day and Family Picnic with Friends of Victoria Park

Stafford families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fun at Victoria Park this Sunday.

The theme of the event is pirates and fairies with prizes up for grabs in the fancy dress competition.

There will also be a parade as well as local stalls, children's activities, arts and crafts, face painting and live music with Serenity Singers.

Starting at 12pm and finishing at 4pm, the Community Day is free to attend.
