A charity in Stafford has made a generous donation to help women impacted by domestic abuse.

Staffordshire Women's Aid (SWA) was experiencing a shortage of suitcases, which play an important part in helping women leave their refuge, when fellow charity Love it again, Staffs, stepped in to help.

After discovering SWA was in need of urgent donations, the Love it again, Staffs team quickly got in touch and had three suitcases ready for collection.

SWA said on social media: "These simple but essential items make a real difference, helping women leave with dignity as they move on to a safer future.

"A huge thank you to Katie and everyone at Love It Again Staffordshire for your kindness, generosity and continued support."

In reply, Love it again, Staffs said: "You are very welcome!
