Whether you are buying your first home, navigating a divorce, or launching a business, having the right legal support can make all the difference.

Davisons Law, based just off Wolverhampton Road, is a solicitor's firm that aims to support people through both the most exciting and challenging parts of life.

Anthony Myles, Director for the Stafford and Wolverhampton offices, said: "We try to cover every area because someone will always need help buying or selling a house or setting up a new business.

"Everybody needs a will or may have to deal with a probate matter for a family member during a difficult time, and most people need familial support at some point.

"We are trying to be a firm that can assist with every aspect of somebody's life."

Davisons Law Stafford has a team of solicitors specialising in a wide range of areas.

Tia Bickley heads the family department, focusing on complex financial matters and divorce proceedings.

Commercial solicitor Simon Plant advises businesses on owning, occupying and investing in commercial property.

The team has recently been strengthened by Maria Gough, a litigation solicitor specialising in inheritance disputes, commercial conflicts and landlord and tenant matters, providing practical, solutions-focused support.

The team also includes Melissa Rowell, who advises clients on wills, powers of attorney and grants of probate, helping them plan ahead and manage affairs with confidence.

Senior Associate Conveyancer Al Nijjar, who oversees the Stafford office, said: "I think there can be a misconception with solicitors' firms.

"Rightly or wrongly, clients are sometimes quite intimidated to phone their solicitor or conveyancer.

"The ethos that we have driven forward over the years is that we want to be a very approachable firm.

"We want our clients to pick up the phone and ask us any questions."

Founded 40 years ago by senior partner Gary Davison, the firm first opened in Weoley Castle in south-west Birmingham.

In 2021, Davisons Law arrived in Stafford, choosing an old corn mill on Friar's Terrace to call home.

The building is full of bare brickwork and beams, which staff say gives it the feel of a New York loft.

Anthony Myles said: "I think it's better than having a normal, whitewashed office block with the usual cubicles.

"We're not like that.

"We're very open plan, very informal.

"We're a bit more modern and a bit different."

Despite the historic setting of their office, Davisons Law has invested in the town's future and regularly recruits and trains local people, many of whom now hold senior positions.

Staff are active members of the community both inside and outside the office.

Many of the team will be helping at Stafford Half Marathon on 22 March, handing out water to runners.

Anyone needing help with conveyancing can rely on Davisons' local knowledge and experience to help ensure a smooth move.
