A man, in his thirties, is due to appear in court charged with monkey dust-related offences.

Ryan James Holt, from Stafford, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class B drug; monkey dust.

This follows a stop-and-search carried out by officers in the Highfields area of Stafford yesterday evening (Tuesday 15 September).

The 33-year-old remains in police custody ahead of an appearance due at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (Wednesday 16 September).

Staffordshire Police said: "Officers continue to crackdown on the supply of monkey dust in Staffordshire as part of dedicated force priority, Operation Rivent."
