Man and woman arrested over monkey dust supply in Staffordshire

Two individuals have been arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of monkey dust supply offences in Staffordshire.
On Wednesday evening (3 June), officers carrying out proactive work, entered an address in Washwood Heath, Birmingham.
A significant amount of monkey dust was found at the address.
Two vehicles, located outside the property, were seized by West Midlands Police as it was thought they could be of value to the investigation.
A 41-year-old woman from Stafford and a 24-year-old man from Birmingham were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, monkey dust; and possession with intent to supply class C drugs, Pregabalin.
They remain in custody while police enquiries continue.
Staffordshire Police said: "We continue to do all we can to disrupt the supply of monkey dust in Staffordshire and urge anyone with any information in relation to any suspicious activity in their area to contact us."
