The annual Walk to Remember event, organised by charity Katharine House Hospice, will take place on Saturday 26 September at a historic local venue.

Returning for its third year, the walk takes participants on a 5K trail through the beautiful Shugborough Estate, giving people the chance to celebrate the lives of those who have passed away.

Katharine House Hospice said: "Our route will take us along the banks of the rivers Sow and Trent and past the majestic ancestral home of the Anson family, Shugborough Hall.

"The step-free pathways mean that everyone can take part.

"There will also be a special display for you to make a dedication to your loved one."

Early bird tickets are available until 30 June and cost just £15.

Children aged 12 and under can take part for free.

Shugborough Estate will be open on the day from 4pm for registration with the walk beginning at 5:30pm.
