Back in August, Katharine House Hospice invited members of the public to vote on the names of their ten new inpatient rooms.

It was revealed that the rooms would be named after flowers to complement the tree names already used for rooms in the Therapy and Wellbeing Centre.

700 people completed the survey, voted and shared ideas and memories of the hospice.

According to the charity, the names aim to give the rooms "warmth and individuality".

The room names are as follows:

• Apple Blossom
• Bluebell
• Clover
• Daisy
• Elderflower
• Forget-me-not
• Gardenia
• Honeysuckle
• Iris
• Jasmine

Katharine House Hospice said: "These beautiful names will help create warm, welcoming spaces where more precious memories can be made.

"Thank you for helping to shape the future of your hospice.

"Watch this space for updates as the project to build more room to care continues."
