Staffordshire Police are keen to speak to the man following the theft of cooking oil from a business in Stafford.
The oil, worth around £300, was stolen from a container in a yard on Mill Lane on Wednesday 27 May at 6am.
Police officers are investigating and have examined CCTV.
Two men and a van were spotted at the scene at the time of the incident.
