Yesterday (25 August), Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled a large fire in Stafford, involving around 40 acres of grassland.
Crews were called to a field off Peggs Lane, High Offley, at 12:30pm on Tuesday (25 August) following reports of a fire.
Nine appliances, including two from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene with several fields found to be well alight.

Following an investigation, the cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
Station Manager Dez Stoddart, who was at the scene, said: "I would like to thank the local community for their support during this incident, including local farmers who helped us contain the fire.
"I would also like to thank the first crews on scene, who used effective techniques to prevent the fire reaching properties and vehicles nearby.
"I would urge everyone to take care in the countryside this summer and follow the advice on our website to ensure we keep Staffordshire safe."
