Saturday 25 April- Birthday celebrations continue at Penkridge Parish Church

Last weekend, St Michael and All Angels Church opened its doors to the public to mark its 800th anniversary.

This Saturday, the festivities will continue with the church again being open to the public.

Special guided tours will take place at 11am and 2pm and offer a unique opportunity to learn about the building's turbulent past, from Henry VIII to the First World War.

Saturday 25 April to Sunday 26 April- The International Classic MotorCycle Show

An impressive array of classic motorbikes will be on display this weekend at Staffordshire County Showground.

Legends John McGuinness MBE and Dean Harrison will be featuring in the show with Barry Sheene's RG500 up for auction.

Attendees can enjoy live demonstrations from leading motorcycle clubs and there will be plenty of opportunities to buy memorabilia and spare parts.

Tickets can be purchased via the link or on the door.

Camping options are also available.

Sunday 26 April-St George's Day parade

The annual St George's Day parade will take place this Sunday.

Groups will assemble at 1:45pm at the old Magistrates Court car park off Tipping Street.

The parade will begin at 2:25 and head in the direction of St Mary's.

The event is organised by the Stafford District Scouts Association and Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Adult Volunteers and Squirrels from across the area will be taking part.
