Friday May 29- Comedy at The Mill

Get ready to laugh your socks off at The Mill at Worston this weekend.

A selection of top tier comedians will be taking to the stage from 8:30pm.

British Comedian of the Year finalist and winner of Best Alternative Act 2023 and 2024, Jenny Hart will be entertaining audiences with edgy songs, stand-up and scandalous humour.

Joining her is Jonathan Mayor, described by Michael Palin as "very funny".

Jonathan has previously provided tour support for Sarah Millican and warmed up crowds for Joe Lycett.

Saturday May 30- Susie Dent Word Perfect at the Gatehouse Theatre

Best known as the face of Dictionary Corner on Channel 4's Countdown, Susie Dent is bringing her new show to the Gatehouse Theatre this weekend.

Susie will be amazing audiences across the country with fun facts and stories from "the wonderful world of words".

She will be uncovering some English language's best kept secrets and posing puzzling questions.

The Gatehouse said: "With the help of funny, insightful, and head-scratching examples, Susie will entertain and educate us with her pick of language's greatest hits.

"Word Perfect will remind us just how unpredictable, wayward, and utterly magical our mother tongue can be."

Saturday 23 May to Monday 1- Animal Antics at Lower Drayton Farm

There is lots of fun to be had at Lower Drayton Farm this half term.

As well as the usual farm fun such as tractor rides and the indoor play barns, Animal Antics tickets will also include small animal talks, pony and goat meet and greets and reptile and dino egg hatchery shows.

Tickets can be purchased here for £14.95.

Visitors are encouraged to book in advance to get tickets cheaper and avoid queues.
