Two men from Birmingham have been sentenced after admitting their involvement in a drug supply line in Stafford.

On Thursday 12 March, Adam Bailey, 43 and Reayarn Douglass, 23, appeared at Stafford Crown Court.

Bailey had previously pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and Douglass had admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin.

The elder, Bailey, received a five-years-and-seven-months jail term, while Douglass was given a 180-hour unpaid work rehabilitation order, to be completed within the next 12 months.

In addition, the seized drugs, related paraphernalia and cash were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.

According to Staffordshire Police, the sentencing "comes after officers investigating the 'B' drugs line, searched a property in the Broadeye area of Stafford and a property in Aston, Birmingham, in June last year.

"Drugs, cash and multiple mobile phones were recovered and both men were arrested.

"Douglass attempted to grab an unlocked mobile phone before his arrest, but officers managed to stop him.

"Analysis of the phone data showed messages offering the drugs throughout early April 2025."

Both men answered 'no comment' in their interviews but went on to admit their offences in court.

Speaking following sentencing, Superintendent Victoria Downing, of the major and organised crime unit, said: "Bailey and Douglass were clearly involved in supplying class A drugs in Stafford and messages on their phones showed them offering these substances for sale.

"I am pleased they admitted their criminality and hope this shows how we will continue to work proactively to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs in the county."
