Two people to appear in court over drug offences after house search in Birmingham

A man and a woman will appear in court charged with drug offences following a house search in Birmingham on Wednesday (3 June).

Connor Michael Barnett, aged 24, of Birmingham, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, monkey dust; possession with intent to supply class B drugs, monkey dust; driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

Joanne Patricia Smith, aged 41, of Stafford, is charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs, monkey dust; possession of class B drugs, ketamine; and possession of criminal property.

It comes after officers searched a property and vehicles in the Washwood Heath area of Birmingham earlier this week.

Barnett and Smith remain in custody ahead of an appearance due at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (Friday 5 June).
