Eccleshall Arts Festival will welcome TV antiques expert Charles Hanson as part of this year's line-up.

Known for his appearances on Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and Flog it!, Charles will be offering free antique evaluations.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along any items from home which they think may hold some value or have an interesting story.

Charles has been on our TV screens since 2002, acting as an adviser to Bargain Hunt contestants hopeful of making a profit.

He started his career at Christies, London in the European Ceramics and Glass Department in 1999, before working in auction houses in Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire and Cheshire.

In 2005, Charles founded Hanson Auctioneers and Valuers.

Based in Derbyshire, the business has valuation centres in Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Birmingham, Shropshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Warwick.

The event will take place on Monday 15 June at Holy Trinity Church in Eccleshall.
