Stafford Spring Fair this weekend: Meet stallholder Laura who turned lockdown hobby into an artisan craft business
By Livia Gregor 6th Mar 2026
Stafford Spring Fair will take place this Saturday 7 March and promises to be a day full of music, entertainment, food and fun.
Many of Stafford's independent businesses will have stalls at the event including Laura Harold, owner of Laura's Creation Station.
A beauty therapist by trade, Laura began creating resin art during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Laura said: "During the first lockdown, I needed something that was for me, to keep me sane."

After receiving a positive reaction to her resin art online, the 44-year-old decided to turn her passion into a business and today sells a wide range of homemade keyrings, coasters and light-up shadow boxes.
She also creates bespoke memorial pieces which incorporate pet hair or the ashes of someone who has passed away.
It will be Laura's first time attending the Spring Fair, along with her mum, who often helps to run the stall.
Laura said: "I love my main job and I love my crafting.
"It makes me happy, and I think that's so important for people to be happy, and to pursue what their goals are in life.
"Why be stuck in a job, or be miserable, when you can do something that really interests and excites you?"

Other local businesses attending the fair include Tropic Skincare, Frankie's Creations, Bespoke Wreaths, and Dogs Go Natural.
Speaking about the value of supporting local sellers Laura said: "If you don't support local businesses, they're not going to be here.
"You can get generic stuff online, but it's the same old stuff for everybody whereas going to a local business, you can get something that's more personal to you and unique."
