Stafford man charged after four people assaulted and £500-worth of goods taken

A 38-year-old man has been charged after a series of thefts in Stafford.
Liam John Rogers, from Stafford, has been charged with six counts of theft from a shop and four counts of assault by beating.
This comes after more than £500-worth of goods were taken from five shops and four people were assaulted in Stafford between Thursday 18 June and Sunday (16 August).
Rogers will appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday 18 September.
He has been released on conditional bail ahead of the hearing.
