Earlier today (8 October), the borough council announced that Stafford Farmers' and Artisans' Market will not go ahead this Saturday (10 October).

The popular monthly event will not happen this weekend as a result of predicted bad weather.

According to Stafford Borough Council, the market is cancelled "due to Met Office predictions of high winds."

The event should take place next month as expected.
