Several Stafford businesses were honoured at this year's Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards last month.

The awards recognise the hard work of businesses and entrepreneurs across the county.

EweMove Stafford received the prize for Customer Service Excellence beating Abbey House Dental Surgery, Uttoxeter Racecourse and Best of British Beer.

Family-run engineering firm, The Hex Group came out on top winning Business of the Year with employee Andy Gear named winner of the Learning, Skills and Development Award.

The Hex Group said: "Being named Business of the Year 2026 at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards is a proud moment for everyone across The HEX Group.

Each of the winners were presented with a bespoke plate handcrafted by one of the county's oldest fine bone china manufacturers, Duchess China 1888.

Stafford-based company Altecnic, the UK's leading supplier and manufacturer of hydronic solutions, was also recognised, receiving the Sustainability and Environment Award.

They said: "We're delighted to have won the Sustainability and Environment Award at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards!

"A fantastic achievement and one we're incredibly proud to celebrate."
