Stafford Borough Council issue important bin collection information following amber heat warning

The borough council is asking locals to make sure to put their bins out before 6am.
This comes after the Met Office issued an amber heat warning for the West Midlands.
Placing bins outside early in the day allows bin crews to begin collections earlier, allowing them to avoid the worst of the heat.
Stafford Borough Council said: "As we can expect further heat warnings through the summer, could you continue to place your bins out earlier to enable the early start option for the crews when needed.
"Thank you for your understanding."
