Stafford Specsavers: Trusted eye and hearing care for the Stafford community
By Livia Gregor 13th Jul 2026
Serving the local community for more than 30 years, Specsavers Stafford provides eye and hearing care for people across the county town.
Situated just off Market Square, the store offers both eye health and hearing services that are accessible to all.
With a choice of 1,200 frames, priced from £15 to £170 including lenses, there's something to suit a wide range of styles and budgets.
Store director and ophthalmic director, Satinder Mahal says: "Our customers tell us we're professional while being approachable.
"We enjoy getting to know people and making sure they feel comfortable throughout their visit."
The store offers OCT scans, which use advanced 3D imaging to help detect some eye conditions by scanning the back of the eye.
As well as eye tests, children's eye care, contact lens fitting and more, Stafford Specsavers also provides a range of hearing services including hearing checks, earwax removal and hearing protection.

Store director and retail manager, Jason Guy, said: "We are a community-based store and what a lot of people don't realise is that we are locally owned and run by the people that work here."
Around 85% of the store's team are Stafford-based, with many first joining as apprentices before going on to build their careers at the store.
Jason added: 'I feel passionate about serving the local community and supporting our team to develop their careers.
"Seeing colleagues grow and helping local people is what makes this such a rewarding place to work."
Speaking about why he enjoys his role, assistant manager, David Farr said: "I'm from a retail background, but what makes this role different is that we can make a real difference to people's lives every day."
Stafford Specsavers is currently fundraising for Birmingham Children's Hospital with nine members of the team in training for the Stafford 10K in September.
Satinder said: "The fundraising effort has been inspired by three-year-old Harper Gibson, whose serious health condition was first identified during a routine eye examination at the store last year.
"Following a swift referral from the team, Harper received specialist treatment at Birmingham Children's Hospital and has since proudly rung the bell to mark being cancer-free.
"Harper's story really touched everyone in the team.
"We're delighted she's doing so well, and taking part in the Stafford 10K is our way of giving something back to Birmingham Children's Hospital for everything they did for her and her family."
