Route for Stafford 10k revealed
By Livia Gregor 13th May 2026
The route for this year's Stafford 10k, taking place on 20 September, has been announced.
Back in March, event organisers launched a competition, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Stafford 10k, inviting people to design the race's course.
On Monday, it was revealed the winning route had been created by local runner Christine.
According to race organisers, the course has "been carefully shaped" to ensure "the best race-day experience with plenty of opportunities for amazing crowd support along the way."

Last year's race winner was Rugeley Runners' Lee Gratton who finished in 29 minutes and 40 seconds.
Gratton also took first prize at the Stafford Half Marathon 2026, finishing the course in one hour, five minutes and 32 seconds.
Small adjustments may be made to the route over the coming months to ensure that required safety and regulatory standards are met.
