A popular coffee shop, located next to St Mary's, has just upgraded its menu for the summer season.

Monk & Smuggler's brand new menu is small but perfectly curated combining current trends with delicious flavours.

The cafe is well-known for its specialty coffee and On the Coffee Run Club which caters to joggers of all ages and abilities.

At the end of last year, Monk & Smuggler was recognised as the best Cafe, Pub, Bar or Restaurant in the Leigh Ingham's Small Business Awards.

Many of the new menu items are experimental and may seem a bit out there to some customers but owner Natasha is sure that people will soon love the new menu items just as much as the classics.

She said: "We've kept and updated a couple of fan favourites like the Salami sandwich and Salmon bagel.

"We've introduced some new items that will soon become your new faves like the Welsh rarebit on a New York Style Croissant.

"The new Vegan Bagel is simple, fresh and delicious and the Cheesecake stuffed croissant is the perfect treat when you're not sure if you fancy savoury or sweet!"

Items are made fresh each morning.

This means if you want to sample the new offerings it is better to arrive earlier in the day as once they sell out there won't be anymore until the next batch is prepared.
