Popular live music event set to return to Stafford this weekend postponed
By Livia Gregor 17th Apr 2026
A food festival, which was to take place in Sandon this Sunday (19 April), has been postponed.
Sandon Hall's debut Hungry Gatherings event was a big success in Summer 2025 with many local people anticipating its return this weekend.
The festival promised to be a day of live music and tasty street food with a draught bar courtesy of The Dog & Doublet pub.
On 14 April, Sandon Hall announced that the event would be postponed.
However, fans of the festival should not be disheartened as Hungry Gatherings has been rescheduled to take place in August.
Speaking on the cancellation Sandon Hall said: "This event is outdoors with street food dining and live entertainment.
"We've made the decision based on this week's weather.
"The new date is Sunday, 23 August, when we hope the weather will be kinder."
