Staffordshire Police is keen to identify a potential witness after two men were assaulted on Grey Friars Way.

The incident took place at around 5am on Sunday 3 May.

Officers want to track down an unknown man, who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened.

He is described as a white man, around 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in, wearing jeans and a light-coloured t-shirt.

Two men have been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife or bladed article in a public place.

They will appear at Stafford Crown Court on 2 November.
