Man arrested after stop-and-search on Common Road

A man, from Stafford, has been arrested on suspicion of monkey dust supply offences following a stop-and-search.
Yesterday afternoon (25 August), police stopped a vehicle on Common Road and found a phone with messages allegedly relating to the supply of drugs.
A search of an associated address revealed a further phone and scales.
A 35-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of monkey dust.
He has since been released under investigation while police inquiries continue.
