Ken Bruce has told people to "dance their socks off" at a daytime disco celebrating the 35th birthday of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity taking place in Stafford next weekend.

The well-known radio and tv presenter recently filmed a video promoting the 'Oh My Days 30 Years Of Floor Fillers' charity daytime disco at Riva Stafford on Saturday 26 September.

In the video, he said: ""Hi, it's Ken Bruce here, hope you'll come along to TJ DJ's 90s, 00s and now daytime disco at Riva in Stafford.

"You'll have a fabulous time there and you'll be helping the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity on their 35th birthday.

"Have a great day, dance your socks off and have a lovely time."

Popular Stafford DJ, Tim Rowlands, better known as TJ DJ, will be spinning classic tunes from across the decades to mark the charity's special anniversary with every ticket sold helping to raise money.

DJ Tim has been supporting the charity for a number of years using his musical talents to raise thousands of pounds, helping Midlands Air Ambulance to continue their life-saving work.

The event is a double celebration, as 26 September is also Tim's birthday!

He said: "The support we've received has been incredible and I'm looking forward to celebrating both my birthday and 35 years of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity with everyone.

"It's going to be a fantastic afternoon of great music, dancing and fundraising for a cause that's very close to my heart."

The event has also been endorsed by star of ChuckleVision and Celebrity Coach Trip, Paul Chuckle.
