Do you have a school aged child who has missed a vaccination?

Don't worry, several catch-up clinics are taking place in Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent in the coming weeks to make sure that young people are kept up to date with their jabs.

According to the UK Health Security Agency, vaccinations are important for children because they "reduce the spread of infection and stop outbreaks of disease" and "keep children in school or accessing education if home schooled, so they can continue to learn and develop".

Additionally, they can "protect people who cannot be vaccinated through 'herd immunity', meaning that when enough people are vaccinated, infections cannot easily spread".
