The 10th annual Staffordshire Day was held on Friday (1 May) with festivities taking place across the county including the launch of the Staffy Trail.
MP Gavin Williamson founded the day in 2016 as a way of showcasing everything Staffordshire has to offer.
The celebrations will continue tomorrow (4 May) in Market Square with live entertainment, street food stalls and activities.
Professor Elizabeth Barnes, the Lord-Lieutenant for Staffordshire, will be opening the event at 11am.
Attendees can enjoy performances from Stafford Morris, Dappa Dance, Magic Voices and The Pole Station.
Stafford Nub News partners, Vibe 1, will be hosting the event with DJ Cat K keeping the crowd entertained throughout the day.
There will be a free inflatable play park for children and giveaways which include Staffordshire Day wristbands.
Lorraine Conkey, Director of Staffordshire Cultural Events CIC/LR Partnership Events, said: "Staffordshire Day is about bringing people into the town centre and giving them something to enjoy.
"There's plenty going on throughout the day and something for everyone."
