A highly-anticipated new dentist will soon open in Stafford town centre.

The clinic, known as The Dentist, will be taking up residence at 38 Greengate Street, premises that previously housed Toni & Guy.

Having passed its CQC inspection, the new practice will soon be welcoming patients.

Although The Dentist is not registered with the NHS, practice manager Jane Simpson promises that treatment will be "affordable" and that the surgery will "give back to the community".

Flexible treatment options will be available as well as membership plans.

There will also be special rates for key workers, military families and people fitting certain criteria.

The Dentist said: "We are absolutely delighted to share that The Dentist at Stafford has officially passed our CQC inspection!

"This is a huge milestone for us and we couldn't have reached it without the support, encouragement and patience of our wonderful community.
